Miami Community Advisory Committee, which is an alliance of individuals and community organizations, supports the recruitment, retention, and health education efforts of the
Miami Field Center and provides advice and guidance regarding potentially relevant relationships among the community, study participants, and the HCHS/SOL.
To maximize community participation in the recruitment and participation of study
participants, the Miami Field Center has established a local advisory committee with representation of diverse sectors:

community-based organizations
